Day Five - Drops of Jupiter

Yes, I just made a Train Reference in the title, but comeon, we all know that band ruled the 90's. Anywho, the content of todays shot does not consist of a potently toxic liquid metal from a distant planet, but rather water, good old fashioned earth based water. It was raining on and off alot earlier today, so i took advantage of that and tried to capture the texture and three dimensional nature of the droplets.

Day Four - Textured Hostas

Today's photo comes directly from the front yard of my cabin! I have always admired the texture and patterns present on the leaves of the hosta plant, so I thought I would play around with these beautiful plants a bit and I am pretty happy with the results!

Day Three - The Wise Old Woman

Today's Photo is of a very dear old friend of mine. We first got our dog ginger when I was 1o years old. Its hard to believe its been 11 years since that day. I can still remember almost every detail about the day we got her, and ever since then she and I have been inseparable. So many of my memories have involved her in some way and i can not thank her enough for all the unconditional love she has provided me with throughout the years so heres to many more!

Day Two - Alone on the dock

This photo was shot on Loon Lake in Pine River Minnesota. Driving around and listening to the clash (The Magnificent Seven!) my brother and I came across a public access to this lake. After snapping a few shots of the dock by itself, my brother went to go have a seat and enjoy the sunset, so I clicked the shutter and this is what came out!

Day one!

Well here it is! the very first photo for this new blogging adventure I am embarking on. I hope you all will enjoy following me along for the next year as I take and post one photo a day to this blog.

I took this shot of a wild daisy earlier today as my brother and I were driving around aimlessly. I saw this beautiful flower all by itself, and decided it might make for a good photo. I Will let you be the judge!
